Before an eventful year comes to an end, the BFFT management hosts their traditional and very special Christmas party. On December 12 2015, over 530 BFFT colleagues once again gathered to celebrate the season at the Exzerzierhalle in Ingolstadt’s Klenzepark.
This year, the BFFT Christmas Party was organized under the motto “Off to the BFFT Manger”. From camel-riding kings and home-made presents to a twinkling Christmas tree, countless participants showed their creative streak and came to the party in attire fitting to the motto.
A small BFFT Christmas market opened its doors in front of the Exzerzierhalle at 7 p.m., bringing guests in the holiday spirit with glühwein, roasted chestnuts and a short horse-pulled carriage ride through the Klenzepark. And any frozen hands were tended to with the gift of warm BFFT gloves.
The party continued into the Exzerzierhalle, festively decorated with rustic furniture, a large stage, and a bar. A nativity scene photo op beckoned guests to choose a costume and have their photographs taken as part of the nativity ensemble. At 10 p.m. the BFFT directors, playing the Three Kings, performed a short Bavarian nativity play and gave a brief speech looking back on the year and expressing thanks. Like every year, a diverse program offered the best of entertainment: along with a culinary 3-course feast by Dieter Kuttenreich’s 40-man catering team (potato soup as appetizer, a main course of Christmas duck with dumplings and red cabbage or creamed mushrooms, a variety of desserts in a glass), musical atmosphere was provided by the live band Firefly and Ingolstadt rapper DJ ChinHead.
